On August 19, 2026, SMARTGEN signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with VIỆT SIN ENERGY GROUP (VSEG) in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, to establish a strategic partnership in the energy sector, including solar power, ESS/BESS, and related energy infrastructure.
The signing ceremony was attended by Mr. Lee Segwang, CEO of SMARTGEN, and Mr. Phan Phong Phú, CEO of VIỆT SIN ENERGY GROUP. The two representatives signed the MOU and discussed the future direction of joint business initiatives in Vietnam's energy market.
Through this agreement, the two companies will jointly identify and develop projects in the fields of solar power, ESS/BESS, and related energy infrastructure while expanding their cooperation in business development.
By combining SMARTGEN's expertise in energy solutions and project execution with VIỆT SIN ENERGY GROUP's local business network in Vietnam, the partnership aims to establish a collaborative framework that supports projects from the initial opportunity development stage through commercial implementation.
Going forward, both companies will leverage their respective strengths to deliver solutions tailored to the specific requirements of each project and the needs of customers, while creating practical business opportunities together in the Vietnamese energy market.
Through this MOU, SMARTGEN will further strengthen its cooperation with local partners and continue expanding its business presence in Vietnam's energy market, with a strategic focus on solar power and ESS/BESS solutions.
