Project detail
Residential Solar ESS Project in Long An
SMARTGEN installed a residential solar ESS system for a house in Long An, Vietnam. This project is a residential self-consumption energy solution consisting of a 5.58kWp solar PV system, a 6kW hybrid inverter, and a 5kWh LFP battery ESS.
The installation was carried out from March 20 to March 21 and was completed on March 21. The system is designed to prioritize solar power generated during the daytime for household loads, while storing surplus energy in the ESS for use at night or during high-demand periods.
The project uses nine Trina Solar 620Wp PV modules, forming a total generation capacity of 5.58kWp. The 6kW hybrid inverter manages solar power, battery storage, and grid power in an integrated manner, while the 5kWh LFP battery is used for energy storage and backup power for essential household loads.
This project demonstrates a residential application that combines solar power generation and ESS to reduce electricity costs, improve self-consumption, and provide backup power during grid interruptions.
