Project detail

SMARTGEN is participating in a commercial ESS project for a power consumption site in Long Hau Extended Industrial Park. This project applies a 261kWh-class commercial ESS as an energy optimization solution designed to reduce peak load and optimize electricity usage.

A commercial ESS can store energy during periods of relatively low electricity demand and discharge the stored energy during periods of high demand. This helps reduce peak load and supports more efficient management of the site’s electricity usage patterns and energy operation.

In this project, SMARTGEN participates as a business partner supporting the project from the development stage through to the completion stage for the application of a commercial ESS solution. Through this role, SMARTGEN supports the review of an ESS application direction suitable for the site’s electricity usage objectives and operating conditions.

This project represents a commercial ESS partnership case that applies ESS to a power consumption site within an industrial park, focusing on peak load reduction and electricity usage optimization.
