On March 21, 2026, SMARTGEN completed its first residential solar and ESS project in Vietnam.
This project marks an important milestone for SMARTGEN as the company begins the practical deployment of integrated solar and energy storage solutions for residential customers.
The system was designed with a total solar capacity of 5kWp. The main equipment used in the project includes Trina Solar PV panels, a 6kW SMARTGEN OEM hybrid inverter, and a 5kWh POEN ESS battery.
SMARTGEN directly managed the overall project process, including consultation, system design, equipment selection, installation, and operational support after project completion.
For residential customers, solar power can help reduce electricity costs, increase self-consumption, and improve overall energy efficiency. By combining solar power with ESS, the generated energy can be used more flexibly, especially when backup power or better energy management is required.
This first project provides a practical foundation for SMARTGEN to expand real installation cases, improve execution quality, and develop safer, smarter, and more suitable energy solutions for customers in Vietnam.
